Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup Review

Loosely inspired by League of Legends (no, really), Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup is the kind of simple mini-game that you’ll enjoy for a few minutes here or there - even if you’re going to forget about it soon enough.

You’re running from left to right, out to hunt down fluffy poro friends. I say hunt down, you’re technically rescuing them but it kind of feels like kidnapping. Controls are a matter of tapping up or down to move around with another tap causing you to reach out for a poro. If the fluffy things fall off the screen, you lose a life. Lose too many lives and it’s game over.

Sometimes, there are boss battles too, invoking similar mechanics but mixing things up a little. Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup starts out fairly easy but it soon ramps up in difficulty.

Ultimately it’s fairly shallow stuff, but with skins to unlock and some power-ups along the way, Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup works pretty well as a simple arcade-style game that’ll entertain you for a little while.
