1010! World is a fun little game that owes some of its influence to Tetris but is still its own thing. An energy system means it’s a bit stop/start-ish after a time, but you should enjoy what’s here anyhow.

Each level has you working towards a particular high score or goal by clearing line of blocks. Unlike Tetris however, you’re given a selection of block shapes that you place down in whatever fashion you want. You’re not rushed by a timer but you are limited by how many moves are available to you. Some levels simply involve you reaching a particular score, while others require you to clear specific stars or shapes.

It’s a simple idea but one that turns out to be pretty fun. Visually, 1010! World is a little basic looking, but it’s enjoyable to accrue some impressive combos by putting together a series of blocks effectively.

That’s the thing about 1010! World. It won’t stick in your mind massively, but while you’re playing you’ll enjoy gradually getting somewhere. As a time waster, it does the job.
