Symple Notes Review

Symple Notes really does live up to its name. It's ridiculously simple but it's also something that you'll find yourself using more often than the pre-installed Notes app. That is if a few of the minor bugs can be ironed out.

Symple Notes looks as basic as Notes on the surface. You can enter as many different notes as you want and they're all easily viewable from the moment you load the app. One of the crucial differences however is that you can add photos if you wish, either by adding one already taken or by taking one at that moment. This does require setting up a CloudApp account but it only takes a few moments and is really rather useful as it allows you to access your content from anywhere.

Further enhancements come in the form of being able to share your note via Facebook, Twitter, Email or Tumblr. It would have been nice to have been able to add directly to LinkedIn but that's not a big problem. The functionality of sharing content elsewhere is very useful considering I multi task a lot. Adding photos is also handy although I did find on a few occasions that the app would freeze or crash on me.

Symple Notes could do with being that bit more stable but other than that, it does exactly what it says on the virtual box. It's a useful app for taking notes and sharing them simply. Whether it's worth the asking price compared to using the pre-installed app, all depends on how much you need to be able to share your notes or add photos to them. Something only you can decide really.
