Pokémon TCG Pocket announces it’s upcoming expansion centered on the series' cutest critter

Back in March, Pokémon TCG Pocket released the Shining Revelry pack that included Lucario ex, and I thought the game peaked there. Well, the Pokémon Company is giving it a good go to top that, thanks to the next release, titled Eevee Grove, coming June 25th. Yes, a full expansion about Eevee. I am delighted too.
Eevee has been around since Generation 1, and has made a name for itself by being illegally adorable, and having a huge range of evolutions. Or Eeveelutions to use the correct term. Unfortunately, none of them are exactly competitive in PvP, but in Pocket, anything can win if you use it right.
Leading this cute charge is Eevee ex, which is basically a pumped-up Eevee. It has 90 HP, can deal 30 damage for one energy, and has the ability Veevee’volve. This lets it evolve into any Pokémon that evolves from Eevee. Effectively, it is just a block of text that means you can evolve this ex card. A bit of a let down really. They could have done more. But who knows? Maybe there are ways to use it that I'm not seeing.

Of course, it wouldn't be an Eevee expansion without a host of new Eeveelutions! The two headlines have to be Flareon and Sylveon ex. Flareon can use Fire Spin for three energy, causing 130 damage and discarding two fire energy. However, they also have the Combust ability, allowing you to add one fire energy from your discard pile at the cost of 20 HP. With a max of 150 health, Flareon acts as a sweeper, trying to end the battle before it starts.
Sylveon ex has the Happy Ribbon ability that lets you draw 2 cards on the turn you have evolved it. Add to this its 70 damage for two energy, and it is a nice little backup Pokémon, but nothing overly special. My biggest question on this expansion, however, is do any of the 100 or so new cards offer support for a multi-energy deck? Imagine the Eevee stampede, death by cuteness.
Pokémon TCG Pocket is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
