Photo Tour Italy

Rodney Butler took a trip to Italy in 2006, taking over 120 high resolution (1024 X 768) photos along the way. Now he wants you to benefit from his travel and fancy camera with Photo Tour Italy.

The app contains albums of photos, each organized around popular cities in Italy, including Rome, Vatican City, Florence, Sienna, Pisa, Podova, and Venice. All the images are within in the app itself, so you won't need an internet connection to see them. You can email the photos as well, sending to friends and family, perhaps, to encourage them to take a trip to Italy of their own.

Photo Tour Italy is an ad-supported free app. Images can be zoomed into with a pinching gesture, or viewed as a slideshow. You can even save photos to your camera roll to use as a home screen background. It's available now as a Universal app in the App Store at the link below.
