Path of War guide - How to win the war

Washington D.C. is under attack from government renegades in Path of War and it’s down to you to stop them. Fortunately, you’re not alone as we have some helpful tips and tricks on getting you on the path to victory. Keep that base upgraded!
Upgrade your headquarters as often as possible. By doing so, you unlock new buildings and weapons, the latter of which make all the difference in battle.
Don’t rush itDon’t worry if you feel like there’s too much to buy and build as Path of War is pretty good at keeping the content flowing at the right speed.
As a general rule of thumb, each time you upgrade your base is a good time to buy new stuff.
Some missions have you completing a certain scenario, but often they require you to perform simple tasks like levelling up a defensive gun or stockpiling steel and these can give you a lot of experience.
Time those timersYou heard me - time those timers just right. For example, don’t start up any tasks that require a long timer while you’re still playing. You’ll be tempted to use premium gems to skip ahead and that’s a waste of an expensive resource. Save it for when you’re logging off for a while.
Paths are important because they affect where you go in battle. They're played out on a grid, and your troops will continue in a straight line until they hit the end of the screen at which point they get turned into medals which you can use to replenish your troops.
Don’t worry if those troops have run out of something to attack in the line, you’ll get a chance to reuse them.
The base is everythingWhen attacking, focus on the base if possible. Sometimes, you’ll want to take out a few turrets too to make it easier, but really you want to throw everything at that base. Destroy it and you win.
