Zombieland: AFK Survival is currently celebrating its one-year anniversary. If you don't quite recognise the name that's because it initially launched as Zombieland: Double Tapper. Anyway, the game is celebrating turning one with two Halloween-themed events.

First up is the Tower of Doom event. This will see players sharpening their survival skills as they attempt to climb to the top of a tower that's filled with hungry zombies. Here they'll also be able to gather a new currency for The Crypt where they'll be able to purchase various Halloween rewards.

The second of the two events is far less involved and really just relates to the first. It's called the Zombie Spinner Event and will see players using the titular spinner to earn themselves more currency to spend in the Crypt. However, to use it they'll first need to watch rewarded videos.

Alongside these events, there are also new masked heroes arriving in the idle game. They include Tombstone, Salem and Zombieman and Brainboy. There will apparently be plenty of opportunities to collect and upgrade the existing characters to help them reach their full potential as well.

Those who play on iOS are also set to receive even more goodies ahead of Halloween. On October 22nd and 23rd they'll receive an in-game bundle that will give them the opportunity to double their Crypt currency alongside maximising the rewards they earn from the Zombie Spinner.

Zombieland: AFK Survival is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
