Yongshi release more information on upcoming sci-fi RPG Aether Gazer

Chinese developer Yonshi has dropped a lot of information on its upcoming anime RPG Aether Gazer. Developed in collaboration with Yostar Games and with such hits as Azur Lane and Arknights in their history, there is certainly enough pedigree to result in an instant classic.

You will find yourself in the shoes of an Administrator, a group of people who take control of highly advanced AI programs in human bodies, named Modifiers. With your trusty companions, you will fight to ensure the survival of the human race, who have all uploaded their consciousness into the giant supercomputer; Gaea.Zero. As the trailer shows, the combat looks incredibly action-packed with the multiple skills to pull off and the dodge mechanic to truly keep you on your toes. The timing looks like it will be a big part of fighting, with enemies telegraphing their damaging attacks for you to plan your dodges, and skills having their cooldowns so you will need to plan your burst windows, and when to whip out that almighty Ultimate Skill.

You will head into battle in a team of three; with you controlling a character and the AI handling the other two. Whilst most of their combat will be automated, you do have the ability to order them to unleash their own Ultimate Skills, and when more than one is ready you can even pull off an Ultimate Skillchain to really give it to foes.

As you can expect with an RPG, all your Modifiers levels and skills can be upgraded, with the Access Key being the biggest thing you will want to focus on. This increases your weapon's power, and you can add a Functor to unlock extra powers to suit your missions. The Functor and the Sigils look like they will give you a lot of control over your character's playstyle, which should keep everything fresh.
