After three years of development, Daily Digital Games has released a new 3D sci-fi adventure game called Xenon Moon on iOS and Android devices.

It’s a challenging game where you explore a world, mine its minerals, and use the materials to craft and upgrade various items and equipment. There’s also puzzles you will have to solve to progress as well as combat scenarios for when the going gets tough.

It’s set in the Gliese 667 Star System, a few years after an expedition has arrived there to chart the starmaps. Your brother has vanished after setting foot on the eponymous Xenon Moon, leaving behind only a series of encrypted message logs and recordings. It’s up to you to follow these messages and restore power to local outputs which are under threat from an unknown threat. While completing the story, you also mine crystals, craft useful components and upgrade your Gamma Quad vehicle to journey around the moon.

Check out some gameplay in the video we’ve linked above. It showcases some of Xenon Moon’s combat in icy terrain.

There are 28 different crater environments to discover as you explore the moon, and each one gets more difficult than the last, making Xenon Moon a very challenging game. The deep craters comprise the frozen moon’s surface, and may contain secrets leading to your brother’s disappearance as well as further hints about the mysterious unknown entity you’re fighting against.

Daily Digital Games is a small indie games development team made up of four people located across four countries; the United States, Australia, Ireland and Hungary.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, especially for those who love a good challenge, Xenon Moon is now available on the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. It’s a free to play title with in-app purchases.
