There's a chance that over the last few days you've picked up a new iPhone, what with all the sales that have been going on thanks to Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. And there's also a good chance that you've got some questions that you'd like to get answered. And that's what we're here for.

So we've broken up some of the biggest questions you might have and tried to answer them the best we can. Obviously if there's anything else you'd like to know, stick your questions in the comments section at the bottom of the article and we will use all of our accumulated knowledge to answer them.

You can click this link to check out some of the other awesome lists we've been working on recently. Or if you just like getting on with things, the questions are going to start right now.

Can iPhone gamers play against Android gamers?

That all depends on the game that you're playing. Most of them will let you know on the store page if they offer cross-platform play. Some of the big-hitters like Fortnite and PUBG do, but there are plenty of others that are worth checking out. You'll need to do some research, but we've got three suggestion to start you off.

Space Team - download for iPhone
Minecraft: Pocket Edition - download for iPhone
Vainglory - download for iPhone

Can I play my iPhone games on my Mac?

We're afraid not. Just because the Mac is made by the same company, doesn't mean you can play iOS games on it. There is a Mac App Store, which might confuse you, but always check to see what device a game is for before you download it. The App Store app on your phone will only show you apps and games that will work on your device. The same goes for your PC, and any other non-iOS powered device you care to think of.

Can you transfer Android games to iOS?

That's an interesting one. Some games which are out on both do have accounts that you can sign into in order to move your progress over - especially the likes of Clash of Clans - which means you won't lose anything. Premium games are less likely to let you move your saves over though, so it's best to check before you wipe your old Android device.

Can I play iPhone games with a controller?

That depends on a couple of things - the game and the controller. You're not going to be able to just use anything, so don't try and stick a PS4 controller into your lightning connector and hoping for the best. The controllers that will work will be marked as MFi, which means made for iOS.

Is there anything else I should know about my new iPhone?

We've created a list of all the best games for iPhone, which is a great place to start if you want to download only the finest experiences for your new phone. And, like we said at the top of the article you should definitely check out our other lists to find out the best games in every genre and more.
