Transport City: Truck Tycoon is a brand new simulation game from developer Cupgum that's available now for iOS and Android. As you can probably guess from the name of the game it'll see you working on building a supply chain and logistics setup.

That may sound incredibly dull to some but for others, it'll be incredibly enticing. Simulation games have definitely grown in popularity in recent years and Cupgum is looking to capitalise on that. It promises simple to use controls where everything is controlled through tapping. Tapping to build, collect, deliver and so forth, you get the idea.

There will be over 20 different trucks to collect throughout the game, each of which can be upgraded to better form their specific tasks. The various missions will require the right truck for the job so you'll want to be sending farm trucks to gather produce and livestock or a cargo truck when the job involves building factories, for example.

It won't simply be a case of assigning the correct vehicles either, you'll also need to hire the best people for the job from a list of different drivers. As you earn more money you'll be able to expand your Transport City, hire new drivers and upgrade your facilities to ultimately earn even more cash.

Despite the seemingly casual nature of Transport City: Truck Tycoon it has apparently been designed using a real-world supply chain and logistic system to bring some semblance of realism to the game.

Transport City: Truck Tycoon is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
