Rusty Lake and Second Maze's intriguing point-and-click adventure game, The White Door, is now up for pre-order on the App Store. This one sees you playing as Robert Hill, a mental health patient who is suffering from severe memory loss. The game plays out in a sterile, discomforting mental health facility. As the days go by, you'll gradually uncover Robert's past by exploring his dreams.

Rusty Lake has made a name for itself as a developer (and now publisher) of uniquely disquieting adventure games. If you're yet to play any of its stuff, I can easily recommend last year's Cube Escape: Paradox.

The White Door looks to be a slight departure for the talented team, making use of a minimalist aesthetic and interesting split-screen perspective. You'll see scenes play out from two different angles, and I fully expect Rusty Lake to take full advantage of this to create a constant feeling of unease.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to start unravelling its many mysteries, as the White Door is set to launch for iOS and Android on November 26th. Those looking to pre-order ahead of time can do so now over on the App Store. It's a premium app priced at $2.99.
