The Fog rolls onto mobile with the upcoming relaunch of Dead by Daylight Mobile

One of the latest gaming phenomena to grace PC and consoles is getting an overhaul on mobile with the impending re-arrival of Dead by Daylight Mobile. A pre-registration event has launched and a huge update is on the horizon for the horror icon.
If you haven’t heard of Dead by Daylight, first of all, welcome back from your deserted island. A 4v1 multiplayer horror game, Dead by Deadlight lets you live out every cheesy horror movie you've seen, as four survivors need to hide from the one Killer and use their unique skills to fix generators to make their escape. Easier said than done, however, when you are being stalked by a killer with their own supernatural ability. Dead by Daylight Mobile is receiving a huge upgrade to its graphics, including adding physics to clothing and hair because we all know dramatic hair flips are vital to surviving a horror scenario. There will also be dynamic shading and lighting added, along with a deep overhaul of all characters and maps, which is a very good sign of intent for this game.

Before you worry, this update isn’t just a makeover, there are some long-awaited features arriving too. There are a new set of social features to bring players together, including the pre-game lobby so Survivors can share strategies and bond before getting viciously tickled when the round starts. There will also be global and private channels to chat on, just don’t get them mixed up and accidentally invite the Killer to hide with you in the cornfields.
As with virtually every game under the sun, Dead by Deadlight introduced its own version of the season pass for players to advance along, dubbed the Rift. Now the Rift has arrived at the mobile version, giving you the chance to earn rewards such as character customization items and in-game currencies.
If you pre-register for Dead by Daylight Mobile you will get your hands on the exclusive Feng Ming Outfitalong with a host of other goodies you can check out on the pre-registration website. Otherwise, head to the App Store and Google Play to make sure you don’t miss out on the fun.
