+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

Streaming games from your PC to your tablet is a convenient way to play games from a different room.

But, in order to do this, you'll need something a little bit more powerful than remote desktop software. Check out our pick for the best PC game streaming app on iOS.

The best

Remotr

+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad
Released: 2015-10-17 :: Category: Game

FREE!

Streaming a PC game to your iPad is a convenience feature, so we went looking for the most convenient PC-to-tablet streaming app we could find.

While there might be more customisable apps out there, Remotr requires only a quick and simple install and you're off to the races.

If you want a dead simple, effective, and free streaming app - this is it.

Honorable mentions

KinoConsole Pro Game Streaming

+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad
Released: 2015-05-28 :: Category: Game

$4.99

KinoConsole seemed like the front runner for this competition.

While it does have a bit more user control and a bigger set of features, it's not quite as easy to set up as Remotrand isn't always effective at closing games when you're done.

Moonlight Game Streaming

+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad
Released: 2015-11-10 :: Category: Game

FREE!

Moonlight is an impressive app -despite sitting in the honorable mentions category. It's based on the streaming software for NVIDIA's Shield tablets, and is probably the highest performing app on this list.

The problem is it's only a capable app if you have a PC with one of a handful of specific graphics cards installed.

So, while it is capable of outperforming its competition, Moonlight is a solution for a relatively small number of people as compared to the other apps on this list.
