Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc has announced a raft of events and updates to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its mobile RPG That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memoires.

To commemorate the first year of gameplay, Slime IM has received a brand new promo video, featuring an all-new theme song. Entitled VISIONS, the lyrics have been written by Takuma Terashima, singer of the first theme song Phantom Lights. This time, however, the theme is sung by Akane Kumada, the voice actress for Eren.

A new story event has been added called Tempest vs Mad City! Fully voice-acted, Tempest vs Mad City will cover the climactic final battle of the story. Tempest has come under siege by the witch of the mirror, who has teamed up with an alternate universe Clayman. Worse, another Rimuru then shows up as the king of Mad City, facing off against the real Rimuru. The story will run until November 25th.

Players who fancy a bit of PvP will be able to take part in the new Valor Cup. Pitting Chancellor against Chancellor, victories will raise the winner's diplomacy level, expanding their options for nation-building. After the battle, Chancellors can travel to the new area of the Kingdom of Ingrassia, featuring its own stories and tales of diplomacy to get involved with.

The 1st Anniversary Isekai Revelry Part 1 Recruit has kicked off until November 25th, featuring various characters in impressive regal attire. Characters such as Rimur Tempest, Milim Nava and Veldora Tempest are available to wow and impress in their new outfits, and players can also earn a Memory Stone for Milim Nava through limited-time Missions.

Any player who logs in between October 28th and December 28th will be able to net over 1,000 Magicrystals, and anyone that logs in for 30 days will earn a 5-Star Guaranteed Ticket. In addition, new players can get involved with the Chancellor Rookie Support Campaign, a series of missions that reward Magicules and Magistones.
