MU Origin 2's latest update is now live and brings with it two new Abyss-related events to challenge Guilds. There are also a few new features that will allow players to enhance their costumes, an increased level cap and more.
The first of those events is called Abyss War, which will be playable every Monday and Friday between 21:30 and 22:00 Server Time. It will see guilds vying for control over different territories. To claim them, they'll have to capture several flags, but they won't be able to simply occupy any territory.
Each area has its own grading of A, B or C and you'll need to possess lower grade Territories before challenging the higher ones. After players have successfully claimed an A Grade Territory they'll receive an Honor title so they can proudly display their achievement to others. The Guild Master will also receive a Mount for leading their team to this accolade.
The Abyss Tower of Allegiance is the second of the two new recurring events. This area is accessible on Tuesdays and Fridays, where guilds will prepare between 21:30 and 21:40 Server Time with the event itself starting at 21:40 until 22:00 Server Time.
It's a co-operative game mode where all guild members will work together to battle their way through as many floors of the tower as possible. It's worth remembering that your Guild needs to be at least level 8 to take part in these events.
There will also be an opportunity for players to upgrade their outfits with the new 'Costume Enhancement' feature. Once they've hit level 190 they'll be able to increase their costume's level, upgrade them and equip them with different enchantments. Each will have its own material you'll need to collect to do these improvements.
The level cap has also been increased to 899 with a new map also being added with new quests to earn experience from. This area is called Naars and Elite monsters will also appear there so players will need to prepare before exploring.
