Sky: Children of the Light's Season of Assembly is now available, introducing new expressions and cosmetics

Today, thatgamecompany has announced that a new season is now available in their popular game Sky: Children of the Light. It is called the Season of Assembly and will look to instil a feeling of nostalgia among its player-base by focusing on imaginative play.

It will take place in the Hidden Forest realm and sees players pledging their allegiance as a Scout after meeting the Scout Season Guide. They are looking to rebuild an abandoned treehouse as well as reigniting lost kinships from their past. It will be up to players to help them achieve this.

There are 6 different Scouts to meet throughout the season, each of which is a descendant of the Hidden Forest ancestors. Players will be able to follow their past stories and experiences they've had. Whilst visiting these different characters, there are items to collect that will improve the main Scout space.

Elsewhere, players will be able to take a tour to other Scout basecamps where they'll be able to tackle up to 6 different fetch quests through a brand new Scavenger Hunt gameplay system. Completing these missions will net players various furniture items.

Through the season, players can unlock 6 new expressions, which are ‘March’, ‘Eww’, ‘Chuckle’, ‘Bubble Blower’, ‘ Facepalm’ and ‘Scold’. Aside from that, there are a bunch of new cosmetics available including 7 new masks, 2 new capes, 6 new hairstyles, 9 new props, 1 new pair of pants, 1 new musical instrument, 2 new music sheets, and a season pendant.

Sky: Children of the Light is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
