Kemco's latest RPG endeavour, Ruinverse, initially launched for both iOS and Android earlier this month. It was released as a premium title that also had additional in-app purchases. Now, the developers have decided to release a freemium version of the game.

This will only be available for Android devices and only in select countries including the USA and Canada. This version of Ruinverse will be supported by ads and there will be an option to remove them for the normal price of the game.

However, Kemco does assure players that they will be able to play the entirety of their latest RPG without having to spend a penny. Depending on your tolerance for ads this could be a great way to play a premium feeling turn-based RPG for entirely for free. On the other hand, if you despise adverts in your game it could serve as an opportunity to see if it's a game you want to spend your cash on.

If you're unaware of Ruinverse, it's a turn-based RPG that follows the story of Kit and Allie, a girl who shares her body with the soul of another. They leave on a journey together to uncover the mystery of the Stone Mountains alongside. They're joined by a merry band of misfits that include a rubbish swindler, a less than intelligent dwarf and a quack physician.

Ruinverse is available now over on the App Store and Google Play as a premium title that costs around $8 though it varies between versions. Additionally, depending on your region there is now a free-to-play version available on Google Play too.
