Zoo Corporation has released RogueRun Abyss Tower, a mix of roguelike and endless runner, on the iOS and Android store pages.

In RogueRun Abyss Tower, you explore a series of randomly generated dungeons using simple controls which only require you to tap left or right to move around corners or obstacles. Your character can also jump, roll and climb too in order to get deeper beneath the ruins of these ancient dungeons.

There are a variety of different weapons to select from, including swords, spears and staves, and each dungeon is also filled with material you salvage from your adventures to strengthen your equipment and make them even stronger in future battles.

You can also combine weapons of the same type, further increasing their strength, and whatever it is you have equipped also changes your avatar’s appearance. Customisation is a big part of RogueRun Abyss Tower, and you are able to choose the colour of the items to give your character a bit of a unique flair.

There are two game modes in RogueRun Abyss Tower. The first is Deep Exploration, which changes the layout of the dungeon on each run to emphasise the roguelike nature of the game. Meanwhile, the Exploration Mode keeps the layout the same for a day, with new versions of the levels rotating every 24 hours. This gives you a better chance of achieving success as you learn the patterns of a map and understand what you can encounter each day.

If you're a fan of endless runners or roguelikes and think this is something you'd enjoy, you can download RogueRun Abyss Tower now from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. It is a free to play title with in-app purchases.
