Red and Blue is a flashy TCG that aims to "shake the foundations of the genre". It comes to us from developer Hex Entertainment, and it's available right now for Android. An iOS launch date is yet to be announced.
The game casts you as an adventurer of Babel, the Last City. This is considered the final safe haven in a world that has been ravaged by magical energies. Now, a rift has suddenly appeared to an unknown dimension. What lurks on the other side? It's up to you to find out.
And you're not doing it out of the kindness of your heart, not at all, your journey is undertaken in the hopes of gaining glory, power, and knowledge – even if it means getting into the odd spat with your fellow adventurers.
Red and Blue's core gameplay sees two players going head to head in card-based combat, using all manner of spells, creatures, and artefacts to gain the upper hand.
Thanks to its focus on area-based strategising, matches are said to be quite different from other titles in the genre. There are currently over 750 cards to collect, which goes without saying is quite a lot.
If you'd like to find out how it fares for yourself, you can download Red and Blue as a free-to-play title from over on Google Play right now.
