Puzzle & Dragons is hosting its first collaborative event in the West by featuring characters from the anime Gintama

Puzzle & Dragons, GungHo Online Entertainment's popular match-three puzzler, has announced that it will be hosting a collaborative event that will feature characters from the anime Gintama. This will also mark the first time Puzzles & Dragons has featured a collaboration in the West.

From April 24th until May 10th players will be able to collect some of the characters from the show. This will include the likes of Gintoki Sakata, Kagura, and Shinpachi Shimura. There will be many more of them available during the event period and they will all range from 5 to 6-Star.

To coincide with their arrival there will also be a new dungeon for players to tackle. There will be six different difficulties to beat, so players will be able to tailor their experience to the level they're currently at in the game.

Within the dungeon itself, players will be able to find Justaway drops which can then be swapped for select characters from the Monster Exchange, which will include Sadaharu, Mysterious Creature, Elizabeth and Orange Dragonbound, Saria in Kagura Costume. On top of that, Taizou Hasegawa - a.k.a. MADAO – can also be found as a rare drop within the dungeon.

There will be a Gintama Memorial Egg Machine during the event and players will be able to get one free pull from it after logging in. From there, they'll be able to use it for the cost of 5 Magic Stones until the collaborative event has come to an end. There are also special bundles available for cash if you're interested in that kind of thing.
