PUBG Mobile creates new mode to celebrate upcoming 19th Asian Games

After some pretty high-profile collaborations with legendary car makers such as Bugatti and Aston Martin, PUBG Mobile has finally taken the next logical step of creating a new racing mode. Created as a way to honour the upcoming 19th Asian Games, this Off-Road Racing mode will pit players wheel-to-wheel in an exhilarating new way to play.
Held every four years and backed by the International Olympic Committee, the Asian Games pits together all the top athletes from across, you guessed it, Asia. Coming in September 2023, competitors at this storied contest will go head-to-head in a specially designed PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version, based on this new mode to you can play today. Four teams of four will find themselves competing against each other in a competition set on the Miramar map. This muti-stage race starts with the teams skydiving into their starting positions, before jumping behind the wheel for the Vehicle Racing part of the gauntlet, with competitors having to get through four Check Stations, balancing speed and control to find the optimal path.

This being PUBG however, it couldn’t all just be racing, could it? At each of these stations, you will need to shoot down a host of moving, flying, and retracting targets to score enough points to move on. You could just aim at anything you see, but with speed being of the essence, you are best paying a little bit of attention to hit those special targets that give you more points.
As you drive along, you can grab yourselves some vehicle boosts by shooting the roadside targets between the Check Stations, giving any team the opportunity to make a comeback no matter how far back you fall. This new Off-Road Racing mode puts that special PUBG spin on the circuit and is a perfect recipe for a good time.
