Two new Sync Pairs have made their way into Pokemon Masters today. Both pairs hail from the Alola region, Elio & Popplio and Selene & Rowlet. Their arrival coincides with an event called Trials on the Isle.

Elio & Popplio are a Water-type support Sync Pair with access to the move Sing, which can put opponents to sleep. Additionally, when this move works successfully, Popplio will restore HP. The Sea Lion Pokemon can also use the move Sparkling Aria, which will damage all opponents if Popplio evolved into Primarina.

Meanwhile, Selene & Rowlet are a Grass-type Strike Sync Pair. They can make use of the move Spirit Shackle, which restrains opposing Pokemon. This move synergises with Rowlet's passive, which has a chance of charging the move gauge when an attack lands on a restrained opponent.

Both pairs are obtainable through their respective Spotlight Scouts which will be available until May 1st. Likewise, the event Trials on the Isle will be in-game until that date. During that time, players can earn a plethora of rewards that include Support Move Candy Coins and 5-Star Guaranteed Scout Tickets. There is also a log-in bonus that can net players up to 1000 Gems.

Elsewhere in the world of Pokemon Masters Ex, Chapter 28 of the Main Story has arrived in the game, whilst players also have the opportunity to add Zinnia & Rayquaza to their roster once again. The Legendary Event, The Dragon That Rules the Sky, will be available until May 17th.

Pokemon Masters EX is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
