Peak's Edge is an intriguing roguelike puzzler that's heading for both iOS and Android

Peak's Edge is an upcoming roguelike puzzle game from developer Kenny Sun that's heading for both iOS and Android on June 4th as a free-to-play title. It will see players rolling a pyramid shape through a variety of different levels.
Each side of your pyramid will have a different piece of armour with varying effects that you'll need to make sure are facing certain enemies to defeat them, otherwise, your pyramid will meet an untimely end. That means a lot of the gameplay will see you re-orienting the position of your pyramid to ensure the correct side will hit the enemy.

You can see how this works in the game trailer above. The levels are effectively a series of boards made up of different triangular-shaped pieces that you have to reach a goal on. Doing so will transport you to another game board to overcome.
The levels are procedurally generated so if the core gameplay loop ends up being fun, Peak's Edge could end up being an excellent game to spend a lot of time in. Given that there are over 30 armour types to equip and 25 plus skills available it sounds like there's a lot more depth to the game than it might initially appear too.
Whilst the armour types will help protect your pyramid from being destroyed by the enemies, the skills will allow you to do a variety of things such as manipulating the board in your favour.
Peak's Edge is available to pre-order now over on the both the App Store and Google Play ahead of its release on June 4th. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
