The South Korean Game Studio, Action Square and Netflix games have collaborated to launch a new title called Kingdom: The Blood. The action RPG is based on the popular Netflix show ‘Kingdom’.

The game was initially announced in September 2020 and more information was shared in August 2021. However, it wasn’t until now that Netflix decided to share some updates about Kingdom.

Netflix has dropped an official trailer for the game, which gives a sneak-peek into Kingdom: The Blood. You can watch the official trailer on YouTube here.

The famous Korean series Kingdom is based on a zombie apocalypse that takes place in the medieval period. The series came into the limelight right when it came out. The soon-to-be-released game will be available to Netflix subscribers.

Based on what the trailer reveals, it is fair to say that Action Square and Netflix have put some effort into making the game look realistic. The developers and publishers have tried to emulate the medieval setting and the apocalypse theme from the series.

Players can customize their in-game character and progress through a campaign story. They get to play various modes, including conquest mode, multi-boss mode, and PvP battles.

As the game is set in South Korea during medieval times, the developers have taken care to include South Korean culture and history in the game. The most obvious sign of this is the dressing of in-game characters. To imitate the sword swings perfectly, the studio hired a Korean sword dancer.

So far, Netflix and Action Square haven’t announced a release date for Kingdom: The Blood Game. However, since the trailer is out, we can expect the game to be out in a few months.

After the release, players can play the game on Android, iOS, and PC. You can keep tabs on Netflix Games’ official website to learn more about the game.
