MU Origin 2’s new update introduces new Elemental features

MU Origin 2 developer Webzen has been drip-feeding new content to the game since its launch and, true to form, the studio is rolling out another major update.

Update 4.0 is an Elemental-themed expansion for the mobile MMORPG, complete with new features including Elemental Properties, Guardian Pet Awakening, Elemental Challenges, and more.

Based on the core elements of earth, water, lightning, fire and wind, Elemental Properties can bolster players’ attacking and defensive capabilities, and these can be enhanced even further with the new Soul of Elements, available after you’ve reached Master I level 50.

Guardian Pet Awakening, which is accessible from Master 1 level 11, lets players unlock their pets’ elemental abilities to give them powerful combat properties and skills. Guardian Pets have five different awakening levels and must be upgraded to reach each one.

MU Origin 2’s latest update also introduces a new raid called the Elemental Challenge. Tackling it solo or as a party, players will run the gauntlet against respawning monsters and bosses, and the points they earn can be rewards afterwards.

Furthermore, there’s heaps of new content on offer for higher-level players who have invested a lot of time in the game. This includes a new guardian type, Zodiac Guardians, which can be unlocked after level 340, the Soul of Elements feature for users at Master 1 level 50, and Trace of Star for players at character level 400 who’ve activated 10 or more Zodiac Guardians.

MU Origin 2 is available to be downloaded and played for free right now through Google Play and the App Store.
