Having just launched what feels like yesterday, Dreamcube Studio is wasting no time adding events to their open-world survival Miraibo GO. Abyssal Souls arrives relatively in time for the spooky season and brings with it horrifying new partners to collect, parallel worlds to explore, and more.

Let’s start with the most interesting part of this update; parallel worlds. These are limited-time instances called Seasonal Worlds, accessible through temporal rifts in the lobby. Going through these will land you on a new land full of different gameplay features and unique Miras. When the season ends, you will earn special prizes based on your progression.

Abyssal Souls marks the first of these worlds, and oh boy have they started big. The legendary Annihilator Mira has invaded with an army of dark minions to do their bidding. With a name like that, you won’t be surprised to hear that its arrival is said to herald unspeakable destruction. You are of course one of the only people dumb enough to face down a behemoth like this, so good luck.

These special worlds come with their own rules and progression systems to offer fresh challenges to the player base. In Abyssal Souls, levelling will no longer grant attribute points; instead, it will only offer a modest health boost. You can instead utilize the Soul system, which will allow you to put points into stat bonuses.

For those who are tired of shooting adorable creatures in the face, head over to the mysterious new island created when the Annihilator arrived. Here you will find large-scale PvP battles, a whole area of free-for-all action. Death will see you lose your Souls, but survival will earn Spectral Shards to trade for special items.

This event of course also packs a ton of spooky costumes, headwear, items, and assets, so download Miraibo GO from the App Store and Google Play now before you miss out.
