Infinity Island is a brand new idle game from Luca Redwood that is available now for iOS and Android. You might be familiar with Redwood from their previous games, 10000000, You Must Build A Boat and Photographs.

Redwood's previous game was fairly dark, so they decided to create something a touch more fun and accessible with Infinity Island. Aside from a shift in tone, Infinity Island is a rare foray into the world of free-to-play for the developer.

Infinity Island promises to be a laid back experience with an appropriately chilled-out soundtrack and straightforward gameplay. All you have to do is open a series of boxes and decide what to do with the contents. It might include a card that unlocks rarer treasures or provide a treat that you can feed to your pets.

That's right. You won't be alone on the titular Infinity Island. There is also a wide range of pets you can collect and interact with too. Each can be levelled up if you take good care of them, so try to help them become the best version of themselves.

Beyond that, there's plenty of coins to gather as you idle about on the island. And that's all there really is to it, but since it's intended to be a relaxing experience, it's not too surprising that the gameplay is fairly simplistic. You can check out the embedded trailer above for an idea of what to expect.

Infinity Island is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
