Following a very successful launch in Asia, Hong Kong Epicland has announced the worldwide release of its idle RPG Edge: Mech-Ascent. The game combines team management with idle gameplay, and a plethora of characters to interact with between fights.

Edge is primarily an idle game, with the player's main job being to recruit and suit your chosen party from over 100 SSR anime characters, each with their own unique backstories. Each character has their own skills and attributes to bring to battles, and players will need to plot their parties carefully to make the most of their best units. There is both PVP and PVE gameplay to enjoy, but to get to the top of the competitive world you will need to make sure you upgrade your gear and characters to be at your best. If you aren't feeling competitive, you can sit back and enjoy the game's visual novel-inspired story.

Edges’ initial launch in Asia was met with considerable acclaim, racking up over 2 million downloads since its release. When discussing the decision to expand into the western world, the developers said “We’ve seen a tremendous amount of success in the Asia regions and decided it was time to expand the adventure to new audiences. This is the perfect time for us to bring EDGE: MECH-ASCENT as a truly refined and enjoyable experience to a new market.”

To celebrate the release, anybody who logs in will have the chance to nab the super agent Jin through a log-in bonus event, with seven days gaining you Pixiu, on the game's top-ranked support characters. In addition to beefing out your squad with these two powerful characters, you can also gain rare items such as diamonds and summon tickets.

Edge: Mech-Ascent is now available to download internationally from the App Store and Google Play.
