Hit roguelite Candies 'n Curses gets an update that adds three new unlockable costumes

Candies 'n Curses is an arcade roguelite where you'll traverse a creature-filled mansion in search of your missing friend. It launched back in 2018 and quickly earned praise for its polished presentation and enjoyably tricky action.

Now, a major update has arrived to add a fan-requested feature: new costumes for protagonist Molli. There are three different costumes to try out, each with a variety of colour variations, and they'll surely please long-time fans looking to give the visuals a slight refresh.

Campbell reviewed Candies 'n Curses at launch back in October of 2018, saying "Candies 'n Curses is a great arcade roguelite with a slightly disappointing free-to-play model. It's fast, fun, and bursting with enough spooky personality to make this a quality game to revisit every October", before awarding it an impressive 4 Stars.

It's nice to see this one still being supported well after launch, and it looks like the game has retained a decent-sized player base, despite its Halloween theme.
