Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players have played a whopping 35 billion minutes altogether. That's roughly 583333333 hours or 66590 years, if you're wondering. Why has developer Jam City released this impressive-sounding info? Well, in celebration of the game's second anniversary, of course.

35 billion of anything is, I'll admit, beyond the realm of my own personal comprehension, but in dollars is still somehow around a third of what Jeff Bezos is worth.

Anyway, thanks to Jam City's big ol' stat dump, we have lots of other stupidly massive numbers to ponder, including that 50 million Quidditch matches have been played, 2 billion spells have been cast, and over 2 million owl exams have been sat since the game's launch in April 2018.

Fans are now being offered a "once-in-a-lifetime" chance to send in some lovely costume designs, which could then be featured in-game. The contest is set to begin this Saturday, April 25th, and will require you to create designs that incorporate elements from all four Hogwarts houses.

These submissions will be whittled down to three finalists, with the overall winner being voted on by fans. The winning design will be immortalised in Hogwarts Mystery in Fall 2020.

All players are also set to receive a digital party onesie outfit paired with "adorable" house-specific slippers. You should expect your in-game gift to arrive on the 25th. During the celebration, the house common rooms will boast party decor and lots of messy confetti.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is available for download now from both the App Store and Google Play.
