Galaxy on Fire 2 Glides onto iOS in October

German developer Fishlabs are no rookies to the world of portable game development. Founded way back in 2004, the team has developed for a number of mobile platforms with the iPhone being their most recent target. Back in October of last year, they released their original sci-fi shooter, Galaxy on Fire, to middling reviews from 148Apps.com.

With such mediocre review scores it would hard to justify a sequel, but that doesn’t seem to be discouraging them one bit. Yesterday they let news slip that not only was Galaxy on Fire 2 on the way, but it would be playable in a beta form at GamesCon next week in Cologne Germany. The game was also christened with an official-ish release window of sometime in October.
