Card Wars, the Freemium Game with the Premium Price, is Currently Free

I might be alone in my contempt of Card Wars, but I can't help finding it to be an insult. Charging a premium for what is basically a free-to-play game is just gross. And it's not even "basically," it is a free-to-play game. They just decided to charge money for it. Or at least they did, but now it's free so I'm not quite as mad.

To be fair, Card Wars has changed a bit since I deleted it in disgust. The daily gift at least gives players a chance to earn more hearts/energy/stamina/whatever along with a super tiny possibility to win extra gems. And the core game is fun, so long as you ignore the completely inapprorpiate stamina system. Actually that's going to be a lot easier to do if you download it while it's free.

Despite my distaste for its monetization model, Card Wars is a pretty good (if misguided) game that's definitely worth grabbing for zero money down.
