The best mobile rhythm games

Posted by Jessica Famularo on September 13th, 2017

Mobile is a great platform for rhythm games. Touch screen controls are perfectly suited to tapping out carefully timed rhythms, and the brief come and go momentum of these types of game make them great to play when you're on the move. Here are five of the best rhythm games you can play on your phone right now.

Beat Sneak Bandit

This funky stealth game sees you sneaking around a mansion, recovering stolen clocks and duping unsuspecting guards. It's a clever mish mash of genres that we know you'll love.

Crypt of the Necrodancer

Crypt of the Necrodancer is one of our favorite mobile games of all time, and it's easy to see way. This crazy cool indie title puts rhythm game mechanics into a tough fantasy roguelike dungeon crawler. Take out monsters in turn-based, rhythm-driven combat.

Lanota

Part virtual picture book, part rhythm game, Lanota features a gorgeous soundtrack and a moving story that will stick with you long after the music stops.

Lost in Harmony

Lost in Harmony shows us that rhythm games are just as good at telling impactful stories as other games. This title from a former Ubisoft developer tells the touching tell of Kaito and Aya, as the player guides Kaito's skateboard through a series of fantastical stages set to a frankly incredible soundtrack.
