Azeroth come to mobile as Warcraft Rumble brings miniature tabletop games to the palm of your hand

It is time to put your allegiance to the Alliance or the Horde aside, and instead build yourself a giant Mini army, as Blizzard Entertainment has announced new strategy game Warcraft Rumble, launching live at BlizzCon on November 3rd.

Warcraft Rumble will be the first game built from scratch with mobile in mind. You will be able to build and lead mini armies comprised of all the heroes, villains, and creatures from the expansive Warcraft universe. Characters like Jaina Proudmoore, Grommash Hellscream and Hogger are all chomping at the bit to be ordered by you. Rumble takes place from an overhead view, which is pretty cool and makes it seem like an actual miniature tabletop game. You must gather gold either by mining or through passive generation, and then summon your pool of soldiers.

Direct your little guys and gals across the battlefield to capture objectives that will allow you to deploy fresh units further up the table, and take on the game's fearsome bosses that await you by strategically using your soldier's special abilities and passive strengths. Got a lot of towers in the way? Roll out the siege units. Melee troops giving you trouble? Deploy your aerial forces and give them nowhere to hide.

Rather excitingly for tabletop enthusiasts, Blizzard has also announced Mini Mondays taking place throughout October. Each week, they will be giving away the 3D-printer blueprints for Warcraft Rumble for free, starting with the Alliance. This will encompass a family of Minis, their blueprints, and some tips and tricks on how to get the best out of them in-game.

Finally, if you find yourself traipsing around Azeroth in World of Warcraft this month, you will no doubt spy an immersion-breaking Warcraft Rumble arcade machine in the taverns of Dragonflights' four major zones, as well as Valdrakken, Orgrimmar and Stormwind. Here, you can collect Rumble Coins and Roils, which can be used to unlock and customize seven collectable Minis from Rumble.

Warcraft Rumble will be released almost worldwide on November 3rd on both iOS and Android, but unfortunately, no amount of research would turn up the actually excluded territories, so roll the dice!
