Aquatic word game Bubble Words gets soft launched in Canada

The latest title from Genera Games, Bubble Words - Letter Splash, has been soft launched in Canada - and looks to take you on a letter based underwater odyssey.

Throwing you into individual stages, the game asks you to seek out and create specific words relevant to that level – and to do this you must destroy specific obstacles, find rare and unusual letters, and rescue a range of sea dwelling creatures.

Creating words is simple thanks to the fact you can combine letters across the grid too - which means you should (hopefully) never get stuck to find that elusive high scoring word, with an endless number of possible combinations available across the hundreds of stages.

With the ambient aquatic setting Bubble Words looks to help mix things up a bit more than you standard po-faced word game – with a range of in-game islands providing their own unique challenges and obstacles.

Some special features can be unlocked as you progress through the stages as well – but you’ll have to play the game to know what they are. We don’t do spoilers here.

If you crave a bit of competitive play Bubble Words has you covered too, as you can challenge friends to challenges and even track their high scores to make sure you’re the shark to their salmon.

In any case if you’re based in Canada you’re in luck, as Bubble Words is available to download for free on iOS  and Android  now – but don’t worry if you’re not, as the game will be launched in other regions soon.
