Albion Online proves no anniversary is complete without a big old rumble

Perhaps one of the most community-led MMORPGs, Albion Online, is celebrating six years of game time with a host of events, contests, and giveaways. Also returning is the Living Legacy event from the fifth anniversary, albeit in a much-expanded form with even more to get involved with.

It has been quite the year for Albion since the last Anniversary, with the end of 2022 bringing with it rewards for best MMO PVP and Best Mobile Game, a few nice accolades. The opening of the Albion East server in Singapore brought in record numbers of players and we got two huge expansions. With the exciting-looking Shapeshifter weapons to look forward to, Albion isn’t slowing down. Check out a year with Albion in their Sixth Anniversary Retrospective. If you can put down the celebratory ale and cake long enough, you may notice something is amiss in Albion, namely those giant statues walking around. The Living Legacy event gives players the opportunity to battle these memorial monstrosities to the games past in three difficulties; Construct, Colossus and Titan. Beat these enemies to gain items such as Stallion Skins, Anniversary Banners, and good old cake. Act quickly, the event ends July 26th for Albion East and July 27th for West.

For those creative and clever ones amongst us, of which I am proudly neither, Albion Online is hosting a few contests to get involved in; Scavenger Hunts, Video Contests and Fanart Contests.
