Angry Birds Action! is a physics-based puzzler in which you're tasked with dragging and launching birds around an obstacle-littered field to achieve a set objective.

It's simple enough at first, but when wind gets introduced things can get pretty tricky. Here are some tips to deal with wind-based obstacles.

Go with the flow

The biggest mistake you can make on a windy level is to try and fight the wind. Going against the wind slows your momentum, and prevents you from being able to move, score, and win.

Whenever possible, use the wind to your advantage instead, and only try to fight the wind by moving across or through it, not against it.

Saxophone birds

Another wind element in Angry Birds Action! are saxophone-playing toucans that can kill your progress on a level unless you know how to deal with them.

These birds are a huge nuisance at first, as they put up a wall of sound that can completely halt you in your tracks when you approach it. However, you'll quickly learn that they have a limited lung capacity, so you can get by them no problem if you time things just right.

And that's easy if you remember that everything on the board freezes in place when you go to launch your bird. If you do this right when a toucan is taking a breath, you should be able to launch right by them without getting blown away by a wall of sound.

Patiently clear a path

When faced with a level that has ever-present winds that blow your character toward one side of the screen or the other, the best thing you can really do is try to take out as many obstacles as possible until a path opens up.

Be careful though, as trying to angle your way to your objectives when the wind is blowing will likely get you trapped in a corner wasting turns.
