My Monkey

Every now and then I want to use my iPhone to unwind and be entertained with mindless entertainment. The “My Monkey” app fulfills this need perfectly. Living in your iPhone is a virtual monkey with whom you can engage in interactive play. You can toss or stretch him, watch him swing from branches, feed him bananas, play catch, or customize his look and name. My favorite feature is the ability to customize the monkey’s habitat or background using any photo you wish to use. There isn’t anything to learn or skills to gain with this application… but I’m perfectly happy with that. I’ve embraced the understanding that sometimes simple and silly is best… and a good dose of monkeying around is what’s needed to unwind and clear the mind.
