Monster Hunter Now heralds the arrival of its next weapon type in Season 6 kickoff event

Time sure does drag when you are waiting for a previously announced weapon type to land, but the time is now nearly here in Monster Hunter Now. The season 6 kick-off event will go live tomorrow and introduce the Hunting Horn weapon for those supportive types.
Sadly, we will have to wait a little bit longer for the Style Customisation feature, but there is enough to tide us over for now. Until August 31st, you can complete the Hunting Horn Training Quests to receive enough materials to get your Bone Horn to Grade 6. As an added bonus, the Born Horn will receive a performance boost based on the strength of the monster you face.
Speaking of monsters, let's have the customary roll-call. Until June 29th, you can head to the desert to find Chatacabra, or hunt Beotodus in the Tundra. Otherwise, the Forest and Swamps will yield Great Wroggi, Bishaten, and the tremendously designed Nargacuga. It is an adorable, fluffy beast with wings, and I adore it. I must turn it into shoes.

Unfortunately, the Hunt-a-thon points won’t help me in that quest, as the special ones will feature only Beotodus, Bishaten, or Great Wroggi. They can also yield 10-Star monsters, provided you have a hunter rank of 150 or higher. After the event, all of the featured monsters will be locked and can be brought back by completing the Season 6 Urgent Quests.
A 10-star beast may sound like a terrifying visage to behold, but don’t forget that Hunting Horn boost. If bashing your foe with a musical instrument isn't your speed, the boost is also given to equipment forged with materials from Nargacuga, Beotodus, Bishaten, and Great Wroggi. My flying cat shoes shall be majestic.
