You might not be able to see them, but Chameleos is quickly making its way to Monster Hunter Now, and you need to prepare. Despite their weakness to fire, you unfortunately can’t just set everything ablaze and hope for the best. Instead, engage with the Fire Element Quests for controlled burns.

Between May 19th and 25th, we will see an influx of giant dragons all getting together for a BBQ to enjoy the lovely weather. Luckily for you, they drop the materials needed to upgrade your fire weapons, and during the event, any crafting done using these monster drops will receive a performance boost. The tougher the beast, the bigger the boost.

Forest habitats will see an increased number of Azure Rathalos, Glavenus, and regular Rathalos. Deserts will host Basarios, Anjanath, and, again, Glavenus. For the rest of the welcoming committee, Aknosom will kick back in swamps and tundras. The headline hunt here, though, is the Silver Rathalos, which you can find in the forests and swamps.

We are going to be up to our eyeballs in Glavenus, as they will also be showing up in the event-exclusive Hunt-a-thons, along with both Silver and Azure Rathalos. Most importantly, though, is the reward increase. Slaying any of these dragons will result in 50% more materials than usual. On top of this, Hunt-a-thons will have a chance of coughing up 10 Rarity 1 materials upon completion.

Topping off the event is, of course, the limited-time quests, which will challenge players with slaying Silver and Azure Rathalas, as well as a few less terrifying prospects. If you manage to do this, you will walk away with a heap of helpful rewards, including Zenny, Earth Crystals, Silver Rathalos Plates, and more.

Monster Hunter Now is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
