Fans of Monster Hunter Now are living the high life lately, with a host of events kicking around. The Fire Element Quests are still on until May 25th, helping you build up an arsenal to take on the Chameleos when they land on the 24th. If you need more help taking them on, then look no further than the upcoming Driftsmelting Bonanza Event, taking place May 26th to June 1st.

To reap the benefits of this challenge, you are going to need to, surprise, surprise, hunt some monsters. Specifically: Coral Pukei-Pukei, Legiana, Rathian, Arzuros, Pukei-Pukei, Deviljho, and Gold Rathian. If that's just a string of noises to you, simply smack the biggest wyverns you can, and Mysterious Driftstone G and Mysterious Driftgem G will fall out of them.

These gems will do their jobs in 2.5km instead of the usual 5km, so you can get your gear up to scratch faster. You will receive one of three special skills. Critical Boost will increase your damage multiplier for crits, Critical Eye boosts affinity, and Weakness Exploit increases your affinity when you attack a monster's weak point. In short, we are shooting for those big, hurty numbers.

For those house hunting to be in the right habitats, let me tell you where to find these beasties. Forests will host Coral Pukei-Pukei, Rathian, and Azuros, tundras house Legiana, swamps will yield Pukei-Pukei and Coral Pukei-Pukei, and you will find Rathian in the desert. The shiny Gold Rathian will also be kicking around in deserts and swamps.

If you are looking for Deviljho, they will be the only monster that will invade volatile territories. They will also be found in two event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points: one with Gold Rathian, and the other with Coral Pukei-Pukei and Pukei-Pukei. You will want to find the former, as there will be Limited-time quests for slaying Gold Rathian and Deviljho, rewarding Insta-Smelt Solutions, monster materials, gatherable materials, and zenny.
