Monster Hunter Now starts a dangerous game of peek-a-boo for Season 5's second update

The second update for Monster Hunter Now’s Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is launching later this month with all manner of interesting additions. However, before we get into that, let’s just take a minute to appreciate the art that Niantic and Capcom released for this. It is fantastic. Anyway, on with the news!
From May 24th, you can go face... Wait, where the heck did he go? Ah, yes, there he is, the elder dragon Chameleos, who, as you can expect from the name, can turn invisible. As if fighting a massive dragon wasn’t bad enough. It is weak to fire, dragon, and blast, though, so rain down some fire bombs and call it a day.
They will start appearing in Elder Dragon Interceptions on May 24th, but if you want a guaranteed two days of hidden fun, check out the Spring Hunt 2025. This paid event gives you Chameleos-only Interceptions and no wait time between them and Hunt-a-thons for the 24th and 25th. You also get bonus themed layered equipment.

Take down this beast, and you can craft Poison weapons and the Mizuha Armour Set. This gives you the Chameleos Venomist, which cuts your poison/venom status affliction time in half, and adds to the poison build-up you dish out. If you want to farm for these, then take full advantage of the Fire Element Quests from the 19th to the 25th. It adds boosts to weapons forged or upgraded from the event monsters, so you can burn through Chemeleos easier.
During the Spring Hunt, you can access two Event Exchange Hubs: the Spring Hunt and the Spring Hunt Eve. You can collect Tokens by slaying large monsters and elder dragons and use them to get Refining Parts and monster materials. Eve tokens can be collected between May 19th and the 25th, whereas you need a paid ticket to collect the Hunt tokens on May 24th and 25th.
Monster Hunter Now is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. If you are out and about anyway, why not add some royalty to your Pokémon Go team with the crowned Nidokings and Nidoqueens?
