Monopoly harnesses the power of Eldritch madness to raise money for the WDC
When Cthulhu tells you to donate to the WDC, you get out your wallet
What creatures do you think of when you think of the deep blue sea? The majestic whale, the elegant dolphin, the giant eldritch abomination Cthulhu that inspires madness whenever you see them? One of these things is a little different, yet these three have one thing in common: they are helping a charity in Monopoly.
Last year, Marmalade Studio helped raise money for the WDC, and the Ocean Legends bundle is back to do more good. If you aren't aware, that is the Whale and Dolphin Conservation. If you are a Colossus Squid, then just keep on floating; we aren’t helping you today.
Jokes aside, any conservation is a worthy cause, and last year Monopoly raised a lot of money for the WDC, so why not do it again? If you can help out a worthy charity whilst raging when you land at the hotel in Mayfair, then that's just some extra bonus fuzzies. I will mention now, however, that you will need to pay.

That is because the WDC Ocean Legends bundle is currently on sale. In this, you will get three tokens to play with. The first is the beautiful Silver Dolphin Token, the second is the mighty Marine Whale Token, and then the third is the Cthulhu Token, which is just absolutely epic. I don’t know whose idea it was to include Cthulhu, but that’s the money maker right there.
What I will say on the negative side, however, is that Marmalade Studio is only giving 20% of the bundle value to the WDC, and that's after storefront tax. Worth bearing in mind if you want to do good instead of mostling lining the Marmalade pockets, could just pop over to WDC and donate there. Cthulhu would understand.
Monopoly is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
