Last Day on Earth: Zombie Survival guide - how to survive the first few days of the zombie apocalypse

Last Day on Earth: Zombie Survival is the latest big hit in the survival game craze. The gist of the game is pretty cut and dry -- try your best to survive in a world overrun by flesh-eating zombies. But Last Day on Earth justifies the hype surrounding it with some pretty solid survival gameplay.
Starting from scratch is never easy, though. How do you tend to your own needs while making sure that you don't get eaten? We have a few words of wisdom for folks who are just getting started. Before you do anything else, check out the broken-down car
When you're first dropped into the game, you'll want to immediately examine the broken-down car in your vicinity. This old ruin holds some valuable loot for folks just starting off. It's a good way to jumpstart your inventory, so don't miss out.
The key here is not to panic. If you're overwhelmed with things to do, start small. Concentrate on materials to build basic tools. You're going to need a pickaxe and a hatchet to gather materials for other items and your base. Once that's done, you can work on crafting a spear to ward off zombies. Build yourself a home
Once you have the necessary tools and a weapon under your belt, you'll need to construct a home. Your base is essential for your own protection, and it will allow you to explore more crafting options as you continue to level up. Crafting a Raincatcher and a Garden Bed are great first-time furnishings for your up and coming headquarters. These two items will allow your base to become an easy source of food and water, which in turn will make your time in Last Day on Earth that much easier. Use your gun sparingly
In the early hours, your spear should be sufficient as you explore the wilderness. Resist using your gun to conserve ammo unless you're in an emergency situation where you need to kill a larger group of zombies. Ammo is hard to come by, so don't waste it.
