The GDC IMGA Best Upcoming Game nominated Koi - Journey of Purity is out on Android tomorrow

Koi - Journey of Purity is a tranquil exploration adventure game in which you have to assist a koi in purifying its watery home.

And it's an absolutely breathtaking home. The visuals are inspired by Chinese artwork and animated cartoons but it's the attention to detail that's the most impressive. Leaves sway in the breeze, frogs leap between lotus leaves, and fish play merrily in the water.

There are two different control methods when directing the koi around. You can tap to move it to that location or swipe to get it to follow your finger.

You'll need to direct it on a journey from the tranquil waters of a small pond to a raging storm as it attempts to purify the waters by collecting items, solving puzzles, and navigating obstacles along the way.

Not only has Koi - Journey of Purity been nominated for the 2015 GDC IMGA Best Upcoming Game but it's also proved an enormous success in the App Store since launch, where it has been featured in over 100 different countries already.
