Dark Horse Comics has dipped their toes into the murky waters of iPad comics publishing. Having released many single issue digital comics onto the iPhone, they've decided to now publish two classic comic collections to the big kid on the iOS4 block.

Frank Miller's Sin City and 300 are both classics in the field, having been printed through many editions and made into feature films. Regardless of your opinion of the films themselves, most people know what great sequential art these bad boys are.

Now you can have Sin City, Volumes 1 & 2, and Miller & Varley's 300 in the digital privacy of your own iPad. Coming in at $9.99 for each Sin City volume, and $14.99 for the entirety of 300, these prices are much less than the dead tree editions you might find in your local bookstore.
