Dragon Quest Smash/Grow releases for some RPG-flavoured rougelike fun

Square Enix is mostly known for the Final Fantasy series, and for good reason. The majority of them are excellent. However, their Dragon Quest series has actually been around longer, and is similarly full of smash hits. Looking to add to that distinguished roster is Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, which is out now for mobile.

For those unaware, Smash/Grow is a roguelike take on the RPG legend. Hordes of enemies will descend upon you from on high, or the top of your screen, and you will need to take them out. Your party of three characters will be kicking out Coup de Grace attacks to slice through foes, with the iconic Vocation from Dragon Quest available. It sounds like a fun twist on a popular franchise.

A host of goodies to celebrate the launch

If you are on the fence about grabbing this game, it is worth dipping your toe in early. This is due to the plethora of starter gifts you can receive. To start with, there is a special login bonus worth up to 1,000 Gems. A good incentive just for showing up. But, there is more.
