On the surface, Doodle Fit 2: Around The World is an utter bargain. Admittedly, there's an in-app purchase of $2.99 to unlock all the levels but it's still a pretty good package for puzzle fans. Players travel their way around 10 different countries, each offering 20 tangrams to complete. The extra fun part comes from the fact that all the puzzles are themed. Players can piece together a dollar while in the USA, then move onto creating sombreros out of blocks in Mexico. It's a small yet enjoyable touch that adds some personality to what could have been a very staid experience.

The puzzles themselves are a challenging bunch after traversing the initial easy introductions, but they're great fun to figure out. A series of hints can be used to make things easier, although these quickly invoke an in-app purchase so players might want to try to figure things out for themselves.

Further fun stems from the Community side of Doodle Fit 2: Around The World. It's possible to create your own levels and then share them with others via the online community. So far, none are the creations are hugely tough to complete, although there are some fun shapes such as an iPhone and a cat's face. There's some real potential here and it's satisfying to create your own and watch them get rated.
