Diablo Immortal collaborates with Doom: The Dark Ages in perfect partnership

Sometimes, collaborations make no sense. PUBG crossing over with car companies and the like immediately pops to mind. Kpop Demon Hunters and CookieRun is borderline ok. Then you have those that are a match made in heaven, or in this case, hell. Doom: The Dark Ages is coming to Diablo Immortal, and I can’t think of anything that makes more sense. 

The Slayers Reign, as the event is dubbed, will run from April 16th to May 13th, with the Survivor’s Bane getting a Doom makeover. You will stand against the tide of evil, wielding six new powers inspired by the Slayers skills. Shields will fly, earths will quake, and you can even chain skills together to mimic the true force of the Doom Slayer. 

You will have to master these skills quickly, however, as the Cyberdemon approaches. This hulking behemoth is the Slayers Bane’s final boss, and there could not be a more iconic choice. Speaking of iconic, for the duration of the event, you can pick up Weapons Cosmetics inspired by Doom: The Dark Ages.

If you want to go a step further, the Praetor Armor of the Slayer is available in the Phantom Market. It looks superb, and nails that Doom feel. You can also complete the set with the Serrat mount and the Cacodemon familiar transmogs. But what if you want something a little more potent? 

Give in to the raging carnage of the Doom Slayer with The Crucible Legendary Gem. When an enemy is below a set maximum life, this 2-Star gem allows you to Slaighter them, dealing significant damage. Its slight hyperbolic as the foe can still be alive after this big hit. However, dispatch this foe in a set time, and you will be granted the Slayer’s Rage.

This increases your damage and Movement Speed, and it stacks, allowing you to turn into a maelstrom of rage and death. Even better, doing this to a player immediately grants max stacks, which will not doubt make anyone who sees it second-guess going after you. Although that will be too late, they won’t escape the Slayer’s Rage.
